Founded in 2010, Mulbury has offices in Cheshire and Manchester and is a partner of choice for registered providers, care groups, global financial institutions and landowners across the UK. Since their establishment, 1,080 homes have been built or are under construction by Mulbury. One of Mulbury’s key values is transparency, which is why GenieBelt has been such a good fit for them.
No more information overload
GenieBelt is being used as a project management and collaboration tool on a huge project undertaken by Mulbury. The project is a £30m development of 143 apartments on a 0.24 hectare site at the junction of Blossom Street and Great Ancoats Street. It will consist of two separate buildings, one eight storeys tall and one seven storeys tall with 49 one-bedroom apartments, 90 two-bedroom apartments, one three-bedroom apartment, and three townhouses.
With a project like that, Mulbury needs a digital tool to be able to track progress on the construction project. GenieBelt helps them by bringing simplicity and structure to the project and at the same time improve efficiency rates.
Mulbury is used to working together with different participants and trying to keep track of what the progress of the projects is can be tough. GenieBelt is able to help Mulbury structure all of the project participants and create an overview of the project.
“I like the ability to be able to structure project participants into companies and teams. And I like the permission controls I have as an administrator and how easy it is to change the status of each user. I also like how easy it is to add and remove a user from having access to the system,” says James Alderson, Director at Mulbury.
The simplicity and ease of use of the system means that we can get on with our work, without having to use too much thinking time when wanting to get simple tasks done
The simplicity of GenieBelt
Mulbury is an ambitious, rapidly growing and dynamic business. Therefore, they need a software that is simple, easy to use, and most importantly, can scale with their growing business. GenieBelt turned out to be what they were looking for.
“The simplicity and ease of use of the system means that we can get on with our work, without having to use too much thinking time when wanting to get simple tasks done,” says James Alderson.
